Our Story

Casa Colina Roja belongs to two families, both originally from Baltimore, Maryland. One family lived in San Miguel full time for seven years, raising their three sons there. They fell in love with the neighborhood of Aldea in 2009 when they bought their first home on Calle Gracias. Five years later they built a home on an empty lot on the adjacent Calle Salud. 

Casa Colina Roja, which has just undergone an extensive renovation, is their third home, all of which they have offered to renters for more than 15 years. Their knowledge of San Miguel, combined with years of providing a memorable vacation for guests, make them the perfect hosts for your first, or next, visit to San Miguel.
